These are OK day to day wine glasses, but I wouldn't set an 'occasion' table with them. They are certainly clear, and I appreciate that they are probably blast proof, but.. They have a wobbliness when turned in the light (different thicknesses around the globe) that is obviously not part of the design. Perhaps it IS part of the design however, it might be what makes them somewhat 'industrial strength'.
I can get 'cheap' wobbly appearing wine glasses at the grocery store for a couple of bucks. I had hoped for better than this for $8+ per glass. I will not buy more Allegro. I bought the Michelangelo 20 oz tumblers and love them. But they are not SON.hyx, just glass.
